Monica, Emma is adorable, you need to keep that poor baby. Try to get Sunny through this puppy energy, maybe Emma will calm her down

She is so sweet, she's alying next to me now. I can't keep her because our place is small and 2 is enough plus hopefully soon planning for a baby, she would be too much. Jeff's parents (well, dad) are discussing it. She's just too sweet to go to the shelter. Sunny is getting better and Jeff's niece tonight said she would take Sunny and I broke down, I can't let go of her. We are fencing the yard this summer so she can run more. Now I'm just finding Emma a home. If his parents don't take her I have a few people in mind
I buzzed all her matted fur off, she looks adorable!

Betty - thank you for the soup suggestion. My friend's son can still eat soft food (liquids will come soon enough), but homemade chicken soup with noodles, carrots, and celery would be good for him, I think.
Sharon - taking the Real Age test was fun - I'm going to make Lewis take it!
Glory - Welcome Home. We were worried about you.
Monica -
fo taking Emma in. Jack is a wild dog, and I don't think he will ever calm down, but we could never give him away. Hope you find a great home for Emma soon (work on those in-laws!!! - then you can still play with her!)

Happy Friday one and all.
Pepe, so glad you're home...take care sweetie!
Diane, glad you are home too. Hope all goes well.
Moonie girl, good luck with school. What college will you be taking your classess?
Joann, hope your mom is better today.
Frankie, what's up for you this weekend?
Yesterday was so gorgeous. Breezy, 80 some clouds, but I'm not complaining. Hobe Sound Arts Festival is this weekend and am so excited to go. We intend on having a fun, relaxing weekend before we gear up for the Fair next week. Yep one week of prep and 10 days of being there every evening during the week and all day and night on weekends!
Take care everyone.

GOOD MORNING !!!
GLORY, why didn't you tell me you were going to the hospital we could have gone together!!
I am so glad you are home, I was worried about you. I got home from the hospital and saw that was where you were too.
JAYNE, I was just going to ask where you were. Arts Festival ? That sounds like so much fun!! Sure wish you much success at the Fair like last year. I love it that you and Kirk have all these interests together, that is just wonderful!! Have a wonderful fun weekend !!!
FRANKIE, I will have some of that chicken soup, I just love it!!
JOANN, glad that Jennie is using her walker for stability, that fall had to scare her. Has the new pills helped with the dizzy spells?
LOLITA, is your son still on his diet? When he graduates will he look for a job in your area? My children ended up all over the place.
SHARON, always happy to see you , I have some breakfast here and at the RT thread.
Have a good lunch today.

BETTY, I would really appreciate seeing those wigs. The steriods have taken their toll on my hair. I think pretty soon I won't have any hair on top. Although I don't want to look faky like I have a wig on. In the summer I can wear a baseball cap !! If Corina is going to be gone to Scotland on the 12th how will you get to the airport and who will be watching Sophie?

I FEEL SICK TO MY STOMACH AGAIN ,I AM SCARED TO DEATH. THIS TIME.DON'T FEEL SICK LIKE LAST TIME. NIBBILING ON SOME SALTINES AND COKE WITH ICE, I WISH THEY ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING FOR ME.JUST PUTTING A BANDAID ON THIS IS NOT GOING TO HELP.THE OBSTRUCTION. I GUESS I NEED TO HAVE PATIENCE AND WAIT FOR THINGS TO RESOLVE THEMSELVES, BUT THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS THING.

Good Morning!
Meals on Wheels deliveries this morning and then our usual errands. At least, it is not raining today! We have had so many cold, gray. damp days, we are ready for some sunshine and warmth!
Jayne,
Have fun at the arts festival. It sounds like you are having lovely weather!
Pepe,
So good to see you posting. I sometimes wish I had a nice wig to put on when my hair is a mess! I think there are some very natural ones out there. I hope you are having a good day today.
Sharon,
Thanks for breakfast!
Glory,
I wonder if you should go back to the hospital or, at least, give your doctor a call. Take care!
Monica,
I'm glad to hear the little dog will have a new home!!
Frankie,
I wonder if the rain has left your area, too. Shadow is our "wild" dog. He likes to bark and loves to be outside!
Hello to all checking in and/or reading and have a Fabulous Friday!

Perhaps you could call your doctor and let him know. He might say to return to the hospital if it isn't getting better.

I agree 100% with Michelle's advice, GLORY!!!
PRISSY, I agree that there are some very nice wigs out there. I had one when I was going through chemo. I remember feeling so pretty when I wore it. In fact, it inspired me to grow my hair out into the style I wear today!!!

Good Morning!
Jayne - my plans for the weekend involve going to the childrens' Mardi Gras parade in Alexandria with Kaitlyn tomorrow morning, then driving to Amy's house to watch Cameron and Laney while Amy and SIL go to their Mardi Gras Ball in Lake Charles (I would never say to baby sit them - they would be insulted!!!), then driving home on Sunday morning in time to be with all of the crazy people here during the Super Bowl
There are photos of all of the especially crazy Saints fans in our local weekly newspaper this week - guess whose photo is right there (I live in the house with him). He has worn nothing but Saints clothes for the last 10 days.
Sharon - I'll have 2 dounts, please!!! Some guy was on TV yesterday showing how many teaspoons of sugar there are in one donut (I closed my eyes!
)
Glory - just try to rest and feel better. I hope you do not have to have more surgery.
Pepe - I saved some of last night's stuffed bell peppers for you!
Prissy - still cloudy and cold here - I'm looking for the sun, too. It is going to be cold for the parade tomorrow - a high of 46.
Happy TGIF, everyone - Going to clean today and make sure I have snacks (some will even be healthy!) in line for the game on Sunday. Don't know yet if we will be here or at a friend's house.
