DALLAS COWBOYS WIN THEIR FOURTEENTH SEASON GAME OVER THE (UNTIL NOW UNDEFEATED) NEW ORLEANS SAINTS  24 TO 17

The Dallas Cowboys dominated the first half of this game with a score of 17 to 3.  The Saints came back with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and it looked like they might very well win.  Our kicker missed a field goal that would have assured our win, so the Saints had a chance to tie the game.  The Saints' quarterback was sacked near the very end of the game and the Cowboys recovered the ball with 6 seconds left on the clock.

This loss will not hurt the Saints but they do lose the perfect win record they had.  The Cowboys needed this win to stay alive in the season.  Our kicker has the worst record for field goals in the NFL and Flozell Adams, one of the Defensive players, has the most penalties of any player.  I think the kicker and Flozell  may be history next year!!

Cowboys are now 9 and 5 for the Season!!

Monica, I think your Colts stand alone with no losses!!

PRISSY, congrats on the Cowboys.  I feel good that Tony won .  I do think he is laying off the girlfriends and wants to be the best quarterback he can be.  At least that is what I read in a magazine the beginning of the season.

FRANKIE and LEWIS, I am so sorry that the Saints won't have a perfect season, but they are perfect anyway in my book.  Great team for sure.  I bet there was a lot of  yelling at your house during this game.

Pepe,

We just never know what to expect from the Cowboys!! shock  They lose against teams not that great and win against a team with a perfect record!  doh
I do agree that Tony is a better quarterback when he is concentrating on the game and not on girls!! Wink

Frankie,

I hated for the Saints to lose their perfect record, but when it came right down to it, I had to root for my Cowboys!!  The loss won't hurt the Saints but a loss would have hurt the Cowboys!!

Man, that was a hard game to watch! The Saints and the Cowboys are the favorite teams of my Son Lewis and Husband Lewis. As I've posted on the OCD, my Son would sit all alone when he was 2 years old and watch Dallas. I guess there was nothing Dallas that he did not have when he was little - his entire bedroom, and even his SHOES!  Laughing But somehow we all made it through the game, and nobody is mad at each other!  lmao Personally, I'm just watching college basketball and waiting for March Madness!!!

As many of you know, football is huge in Texas, starting with high school, then into college and of course the professional teams.

When I was in my first semester at TCU (Texas Christian University) in Fort Worth, first semester Freshman Physical Education was all about FOOTBALL!!  We learned about the rules, the plays, the different positions, etc.  I don't remember that much, but do know enough about football to enjoy the game.  I still ask Skip, "Now, who has the ball?"  lmao

DALLAS COWBOYS WIN THEIR FIFTEENTH SEASON GAME OVER THE WASHINGTON REDSKINS 17 TO 0

The Cowboys needed this win to get to be in the Play offs.  I believe next week they play Philadelphia for the Division Title.

Cowboys are 10 and 5 for the season.

DALLAS COWBOYS WIN THEIR SIXTEENTH SEASON GAME OVER THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES  24 TO 0

This is the second shut out game in a row for the Cowboys!     Also, Tony Romo is the only quarterback in the NFL to play every game, the whole game, this season.

The win today means that the Cowboys will get to play in their own stadium again next week and again, against Philadelphia!

The Cowboys are now 11 and 5 for the season.

I have watched two football games back to back!  That's a little much, even for me!

This afternoon the New Orleans Saints beat the Arizona Cardinals.  Tomorrow the Dallas Cowboys play the Minnesota Vikings  (Brett Favre!!) and the winner of that game will play New Orleans for the NFC championship and then go on to the Superbowl.

This evening the Indianapolis Colts beat the Baltimore Ravens (who used to be the Baltimore Colts!!) doh  Tomorrow the San Diego Chargers play the NY Jets, and the winner of that game will play Indianapolis for the AFC championship and then go on to the Superbowl.

I think it is fitting that New Orleans and Indianapolis are in these Finals because they had a long string of games without a loss for quite a while this season.

The Dallas Cowboys are two games away from getting to play in the Superbowl. !We will just see how Tony Romo and Brett Favre do tomorrow!  The old guy and the young 'en!!

DALLAS COWBOYS LOSE THEIR PLAY OFF GAME TO THE MINNESOTA VIKINGS  34 TO 3

The Dallas Cowboys were outplayed by the Minnesota Vikings.  All they could manage was one field goal and two field goals were missed;  no touch downs at all.
Tony Romo had a lot of pressure on him and was sacked several times.  He just didn't have the protection he needed.

You have to be happy, however, for Brett Favre.  The "old guy" still has it!!  It will be interesting to see how the Vikings play against the Saints next week!

The Cowboys went a lot further than anyone really thought they would, so they should be proud of their season.

Dallas did have a great season  Clapping Clapping Clapping but I'm not sure Jerry Jones agrees - he did not look happy on the sideline  Paranoid The Vikings were unstoppable - New Orleans had better be ready to play next week!
